LIM Lighthouse school

Carver Road Middle Principal Sarah Alford said, “We are thrilled to have been certified as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School. I am incredibly proud of the hard work, commitment, and intentional efforts of our students and staff that made this designation possible.”

“Our implementation of Leader in Me has truly been transformative for our school. This process has helped us move beyond teaching students’ academic standards to intentionally developing confident leaders of character. Socially and academically, we are seeing strong, measurable progress at CAMS. Through student leadership initiatives, we have reduced discipline referrals by 50% and chronic absenteeism by 50% compared to last year. Earning Lighthouse Certification affirms that CAMS is not only committed to excellence but also committed to ensuring every student is equipped to lead now and, in the future,” added Alford.

FranklinCovey Education President Sean Covey said, “We are thrilled to recognize Carver Road Middle as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School. Schools that achieve this Lighthouse Certification are great examples of a strong leadership model and of what it means to be a Leader in Me school. This school has experienced incredible results by implementing the principles and practices related to Leader in Me. And we are so pleased and honored to be their partner and to celebrate the success they are experiencing.”
